Job Overview The Deli Department Lead oversees the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager, ensuring that Kitchen & Deli meet merchandising standards, are fully stocked and appealing to guests. The Lead delivers exceptional guest service, provides leadership to the deli staff, maintains superior quality and freshness of salads and sliced meat, educates guests at the counter, creates a friendly atmosphere, engages guests through product samples and suggestive selling, and ensures compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations. Responsibilities Oversee inventory, merchandising, and presentation of deli and kitchen products. Provide outstanding leadership and support to deli staff. Deliver continuous exceptional guest service. Ensure quality, freshness, and safety of all food items. Engage guests with product samples and suggestive sales. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age.
