Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer | Location: Offsite | Contract

A dynamic role for a Full Stack Developer focused on automation and application development within a network infrastructure environment. This position involves designing and implementing end-to-end automation solutions using modern programming and cloud technologies, supporting a fast-paced, collaborative IT setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and develops applications, scripts, and libraries to automate network configuration, management, and deployment processes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set timelines, and prioritize tasks for automation projects.
• Analyzes performance bottlenecks and optimizes code efficiency to improve automation workflows.
• Participates in code and design reviews to ensure the quality, security, and maintainability of automation scripts and applications.
• Debugs software defects and issues related to automation scripts, playbooks, and related tools.
• Creates and maintains detailed documentation for automation scripts, procedures, and system configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with NodeJS, NextJS, or React for application development.
• Familiarity with source code version control systems, including GitLab.
• Experience with GitLab Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Fargate / ECS.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Must be a United States Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of networking protocols, distributed systems, or real-time systems.
• Experience with network infrastructure automation in a large-scale or enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
