Gym reimbursement. Flexible schedule. Position Overview Lyons & Associates, P.C. is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to represent clients in a variety of family law matters. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing cases from intake through resolution while advocating for clients in negotiations, mediation, and court. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence. Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice. Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery requests/responses, and settlement documents. Perform legal research and analyze applicable laws and case facts. Appear in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and conferences. Manage a full caseload from intake through resolution. Maintain organized case files and communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and progress. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure efficient case management. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active New Jersey Bar license. 1–3 years of family law litigation experience preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and case management abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
