Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Yuma, AZ Agency: Generis Tek Inc Pay: $39 to $51 per hour Shift Information: Nights – 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 2 Years Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Generis Tek Inc to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Yuma, Arizona 85364. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center receiving STEMI and stroke cases, with 52 beds including 4 trauma bays and 6 fast‑track beds. Key responsibilities include managing up to 200 patients daily with staffing ratios of 1:5 medical and 1:6 fast track. The RN will assess patients in varied triage areas using ESI, read tele, monitor, respond to rapid clinical changes, and coordinate with ICU, RT, and imaging staff. # of Beds: 52 with 4 trauma bays Fast‑track beds: 6 Triage areas: Two ESI zones Hold areas: Intermixed within ER No separate psych/seclusion rooms Security in‑house 24/7 Patient volume: approx. 200 per day Staffing ratios: 1:5 medical, 1:6 fast track Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred Common diagnoses: all emergency needs; gun‑shot wounds and stab wounds also sought Equipment: RT with ABG, nebulizer, vent, CPAP; glidescope, Hamilton, Phillips vents Telemonitoring: RN must read own tele and monitor Imaging: Dedicated CT and X‑ray with transport team; RN accompanies critical patients Phlebotomy: performed by ED techs; RNs may draw IV labs Shift options: varied start times (7,10,11,12,1,3); modified self‑scheduling Weekend: 4 shifts per 4‑week block Holiday: typically 2 of 5, including evenings Floating: shared schedule with Foothills; 15‑minute drive Scrub color: Navy Blue Orientation: One NEO, one day clinical/EPIC, one day on floor Requirements At least two years of experience in the ER/ICU/Critical Care within the past 3 years Experience reading tele strips Ability to travel >100 miles from Onvida Health Benefits Sign‑on incentive: $5,000 for one‑year commitment or $10,000 for two‑year commitment Expanded relation incentive: 3 months housing; relocation assistance $5,000 (1 year) or $10,000 (2 years) Shift differential: nights $4.50, weekends $4.00 Potential promotion to higher levels and higher hourly rates with additional certifications/training #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
