Work experience using scheduling software such as Mazevo Job Description The Event Assistant supports the planning and execution of eventswithin the LBJ Student Center by coordinating event setups,maintaining event furniture and equipment, and supervising thestudent event setup team. This position works closely with theEvent Planning and Event Production teams to ensure spaces areprepared accurately, safely, and on time for a wide variety ofevents. The Event Assistant also provides customer service andon-site event support, assists with event technology andaudiovisual needs, and helps maintain organized inventory andstorage of event equipment. Job Duties This position is responsible for coordinating all event setups aswell as the maintenance and planning of all event furniture managedby the LBJ Student Center (both in the LBJ Student Center and atother indoor and outdoor locations). This includes setting up andbreaking down of event equipment, providing customer service aspoint person for the events setup processes, and coordinatinglogistics with the Event Planning team. This position isresponsable for recruit, hire, train, supervise and schedule thestudent set-up team. Ensure student employees are properly trainedon their positions, policies, and procedures of LBJSC and arestaffed appropriately to accommodate all event setups for LBJSCevents.
