Position Overview

Nextaff is seeking a proactive, energetic, and patient-focused Bilingual Medical Assistant for an opportunity with a healthcare client in Orlando, FL.

In this role, you will work closely with patients, physicians, and internal healthcare teams to support both mental and physical health assessment workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while providing a professional and positive patient experience.

This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and can confidently balance both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to coordinate appointments, gather required information, and provide support throughout the assessment process.
• Assist physicians with both telehealth and in-clinic patient assessments.
• Prepare assessment materials and ensure appointments are properly coordinated.
• Accurately document patient information, symptoms, and encounter details.
• Maintain patient records, trackers, and required documentation.
• Review completed documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with physicians and internal teams to support timely completion of assessments.
• Provide additional clinical and administrative support as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Previous Medical Assistant or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting directly with patients and healthcare providers.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
