Please visit our website at to see more about what makes us a unique place to work.SummaryAs a Sustaining Engineer at North Atlantic Industries (NAI), you support and enhance the performance, reliability, and lifecycle of advanced embedded electronic systems, with a focus on analog and mixed-signal circuit design and synchro/resolver-based technologies. This role is critical to maintaining high-reliability products used in aerospace and defense applications, ensuring continued operational excellence and customer satisfaction.RequirementsSupport sustaining engineering activities for high-reliability electronic assemblies, including analog and mixed-signal circuit designsTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues in legacy and production hardware, including synchro and resolver interface circuitsPerform root cause analysis on field returns and production failures; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Design, test, and validate analog circuitry including signal conditioning, filtering, and data acquisition systemsCollaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and design engineering to ensure product performance and complianceUpdate schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation to support product changes and obsolescence mitigationDevelop and execute validation and verification test procedures for electronic systems and subsystemsProvide hands-on technical support to production, including debugging PCB assemblies and test stationsEvaluate and qualify replacement components for obsolete or end-of-life electronic partsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, manufacturability, and cost optimizationCandidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status.
