We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and packaging equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, diagnose technical issues, provide operator and maintenance training, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting equipment performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and start up new and refurbished equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment testing, and quality checks.
• Provide technical support and training to customers, operators, and maintenance teams.
• Conduct machine trials, tooling changeovers, and packaging format setup.
• Complete service reports, timesheets, invoicing documentation, and mileage records.
• Communicate job progress and technical findings to management.
• Support emergency service calls, including occasional nights, weekends, and on-call coverage.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and respond to emergency service needs.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to maintain accurate service documentation and expense records.

CDL & Diesel Mechanic experience a must. This is NOT and entry level position.
