Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in Saint Maries, Idaho. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other team members to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the community's healthcare needs and contributes to patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients.
• Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Calculate medication doses, percentages, area, circumference, and volume accurately.
• Monitor vital signs, patient responses, and changes in clinical condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Follow infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and facility policies.
• Respond appropriately to urgent and changing patient-care needs.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and excellent bedside manner.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Idaho.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required as applicable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary for medication administration and clinical calculations.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn and use electronic medical record systems and online educational modules.
• Ability to maintain required certifications, competencies, and professional licensure.
