Housekeeper

Company & Property Hotel Eleo at the University of Florida is a contemporary collegiate property with 173 guest rooms, 1,200 square feet of meeting space, and a signature 3‑meal restaurant and bar. It is part of the Pyramid Hotel Group family. Responsibilities Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness. Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked. Utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities properly. Ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas. Daily change and inspect linens and towels following the Green Program standards. Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report them appropriately. Respect guests’ property at all times. Care for equipment responsibly. Report to work on time and maintain accurate time records; follow room issuance standards. Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers. Perform other duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor. Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable. Neat, pleasant personality. Time‑management skills. Ability to work on feet for an extended period. Effective communication skills. Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. Able to move, traverse, and position equipment up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate vacuums, mops, etc. Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs. Compensation Hourly wage: $15 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on various factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location. Compensation may differ in other locations due to labor cost considerations.
