Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

Overview Maker's Pride is hiring for a Forklift Operator on the 3rd shift. This role supports a large bakery facility with multiple production lines and a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Job Summary We have a variety of general labor openings throughout our facilities. Previous manufacturing experience isn’t needed. What is important is a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment. You might be mixing products, weighing/scaling material, packaging material, or supplying our lines with product. You will need to be reliable and able to work within industry standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times. Some GMPs will vary by location (e.g., certain cosmetics or jewelry are not worn while producing food products). Responsibilities Prepare and ship orders for pick up or delivery according to schedule and order instructions. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store). Perform inventory transactions accurately and maintain high quality for audits. Report any discrepancies. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, including pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts. Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and supervisors. About You High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds. Must be able to work in a team. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to multi-task and strong decision-making skills. Ability to maintain strong internal and external customer relationships. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Team environment; must communicate respectfully and professionally. Overtime may be required to meet staffing and customer demand, including hours before or after normal shift hours. Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25–35 pounds depending on location. Additional Notes Post-offer drug screening and background check required.
