Anesthesiology Physician

Anesthesiology Opening in Lake Charles, LA Beaumont TX 1hr; Baton Rouge 2 hr Highlights -Seeking General Anesthesiologist, but Cardiac experience is a plus. -Approximate hours: 6:30am noon or could be until 5:00pm. (there is always one late physician until 5:00pm) if on nights, come in at 5:00pm and finish any cases left from the day but are still on-call until 6:00am for 7 days-Employed-Established Anesthesiology team including 7 Physicians and more than 20 CRNAs-Surgical Case Variety: OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urologic, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Trauma ( Level III)-Regarding Pediatrics Typically 3 4 weeks is the youngest. Occasionally, neonates for pyloric stenosis-No epidurals at the main campus, all done by CRNAs at the Womens Campus-Two facility locations: 315 bed Main Campus Hospital and multidisciplinary Women and Childrens Hospital-Main Campus has 16 ORs and a 5 room Endoscopy suite-Womens Campus has 6 ORs-No In-House call-Day, Float/Night Float system-Average of 1 weekend call per month-CRNA oversight Compensation and Benefits -Base $700k-Bonuses: wRVU bonus structure-Signing: $100k sign-on bonus-Annual performance Bonus-Student fellowship stipend: Monthly stipend while in training-Relocation assistance: $15k-CME: $4500 and 5 days-Flexible vacation, holiday, and paid medical leave
