Assignment Details:

Nocturnist Position

• Specialty: Hospital Medicine Nocturnist
  
• Pay: $200/hr
  
• Start Date: 12/8
  
• Duration: Approximately 1 year
  
• Schedule: 7 PM 7 AM night shifts
  
• No Call
  
• Required: FL License, FL DEA, and clean file
  
• Experience: Hospitalist experience required
  
• Emergency Privileges: Available
  

Hospital Details:

• Beds: 532
  
• Hospitalist Census: 370 patients / hospitalists cover 75% of census
  
• Rounding: patients/day
  
• ICU Rounding: Yes
  
• Admissions: Hospitalist service handles admissions
  
• Consults: Consulting physician sees approximately /day
  
• Trauma: No
  
• Acuity/Specialty Services: ICU, STEMI, Stroke, Transplant Cellular Therapy, Complex Cardiac Center
  
• Support: Well-staffed hospital with all major subspecialties
  
• GME: Teaching program; teaching teams participate in grand rounds
  

Clinical Expectations:

• Procedures: Not required
  
• Vent Management: Not required
  
• Intensivists: Available for ICU/vent management
  
• APP Support: APP opening available at the site
  
• No specific fellowship/certification required
  
• Orientation: Standard protocol
  
• Case Logs: Per credentialing requirements
