Junior Accountant - Direct Hire Location: Beverly, MA Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Key Responsibilities Assist with core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable Maintain and support balance sheet, P&L, and departmental financial reporting Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies in inventory records Perform cycle count audits to ensure inventory accuracy and valuation Analyze inventory locations within ERP systems for accuracy and control compliance Support preparation of audit schedules for internal and external audits Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Understanding of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple departments Strong attention to detail and organizational skills The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
