Staff Accountant

Under the supervision of the Controller, we are looking for an accounting professional with interest in general accounting functions (A/R, A/P, Inventory review/audit) cost and manufacturing. Ideally the staff accountant will have proven analytical and communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting across multiple departments within the company. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist in multiple phases of corporate accounting including but not limited to AP, AR, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, and closing process Assist with reconciling and preparing journal entries for month end and year end process Assist on the accounts receivable side with customer inquiries. Help maintain balance sheet, P&L, and departmental support Assist with inventory reconciliation, investigate and resolve discrepancies. Analyze perpetual inventory locations for accuracy and valuation through performing cycle count audits Identifies improvements for internal processes and controls. Assist with preparation of schedules for mid-year and year end audits Ad hoc analyses and projects, as needed. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
