The Safety Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring workplace safety at a single construction site. This bilingual position, reporting to the Safety Manager, requires regular travel and a dedicated focus on routine safety tasks, compliance auditing, and fostering effective team communication. Knowledge of Spanish and a strong attention to detail are essential in managing safety protocols and maintaining compliance throughout the site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety activities and ensure compliance at the construction site
• Conduct routine safety audits and inspections
• Communicate safety policies effectively across a bilingual team
• Collaborate with teams to promote a safety-first culture
• Report safety incidents and findings to the Safety Manager
• Travel regularly to oversee site operations and safety compliance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience conducting safety audits
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
