Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide expert care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will deliver safe, compassionate patient management during recovery from anesthesia and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and assess recovery status regularly.
  
  
• 
  Administer prescribed medications and interventions to manage pain and nausea.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress, assessments, and interventions accurately in medical records.
  
  
• 
  Provide patient education regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in PACU, surgical, or acute care nursing preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
