Data Center Solution Architect

Salary: $60,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in engineering, science, or another technical discipline.
• We are seeking at least 5 years of experience in large-scale data center deployments.
• We need strong knowledge of fiber optic connectivity and data center infrastructure.
• We require the ability to produce technical drawings in Visio.
• Experience with both active and passive networking technologies is important.
• Familiarity with Oracle, GP, SFDC, Visio, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

• We create and maintain customer technology roadmaps based on market trends.
• We drive technical influence so we are viewed as a key technology partner.
• We build a strong understanding of the customers data center architecture and keep drawings current.
• We identify customer roadmaps, pain points, and practical ways to remove those issues.
• We influence major technical changes early to position us as the primary technology partner.
• We act as the technical lead for all optical connectivity within assigned customer accounts.
• We map and continuously update the technical organization structures of key accounts.
• We develop and maintain strong technical relationships with key influencers.
• We participate in regular stakeholder meetings, at least quarterly.
• We maintain a customer-specific technology and business strategy summary.
• We coordinate technical content and presentations for customer sync meetings.
• We track and report monthly strategic activity and customer updates.
• We collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to meet customer needs.
• We translate customer requirements into actionable internal tasks.
• We work with Product Line Managers and Engineering to develop innovative solutions.
• We define and document new product needs through the NPAF process.
• We manage the pipeline of new product development and serve as the customer liaison throughout the process.
• We manage customer drawing creation and approvals within required timelines.
• We participate in technical testing, demos, and solution implementation.
• We represent us at leading conferences and standards meetings.
• We align with Fujikura and industry partners to advance future-focused product initiatives.
• We provide thought leadership through white papers, technical content, and external publications.
