Day Program Direct Support Professional CSW 4 Location: Hyde Park, MA Salary: $20.60/Hour until fully trained, $21.63/Hour fully trained. We will train! Scheduled Hours: M-F 8am-4pm, 40 hours/week Walnut Street Center is a not-for-profit human service agency that empowers adults with Intellectual Disabilities to live engaged and meaningful lives. WSC provides this by offering quality, outcome-based services which meet evolving stakeholder's needs and bring together caring, engaged, and informed family members, friends, community partners, and employees to support these individuals. WSC is actively seeking Community Support Worker (Direct Support Professionals) to help empower adults with intellectual disabilities to make more meaningful life choices by working directly with those individuals in our Hyde Park Day Program. You are qualified if you have: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive Ability to pass a driving and background check Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to complete training both online and in-person Previous human services or long-term care experience is strongly preferred CNA/HHA experience preferred Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred Responsibilities: Assist with ensuring a livable environment Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of each individual's goals Provide therapeutic support and assist in Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate Transport individuals Medication administration Assist individuals with activities of daily living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs Benefits and perks of working with us: Health Insurance for Full-Time and Part-Time Employees Life Insurance Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401K matching Generous PTO Tuition Reimbursement We celebrate Diversity WSC is committed to creating a workplace that reflects the world around us.
