Senior Security Software Engineer

Seeking a full-time Senior Security Software Engineer to architect and develop custom security tools and middleware while working remotely or from Austin, TX, contributing to the organization's cybersecurity initiatives and enhancing security integrations across various platforms. Key responsibilities Architect and develop robust, scalable custom security tools and automation scripts to integrate isolated security platforms Leverage advanced API methodologies to create tool-agnostic data flows for automated enforcement and telemetry sharing Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate complex security policies into automated, code-driven solutions Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in software engineering, security automation, or advanced DevOps Full-stack development experience with modern frontend frameworks and backend services Expert-level proficiency in languages suited for API integration and automation, such as Python, Go, or Node.js Deep experience working with complex APIs and building tool-agnostic integration layers Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts, particularly Identity & Access Management and Zero Trust
