We recognize that our diverse workforce allows us to provide culturally competent care to everyone in our community.The Podiatrist will meet, assess and diagnose podiatric conditions of patients in our clinic and provide them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving.As part of the essential functions of this role, the Podiatrist:Assesses podiatric needs of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examinations and diagnostic testsDiagnoses all disorders of the feet and anklesPerforms a variety of technical procedures as delineated by privileges grantedDevelops treatment plans based on diagnoses and on evaluation of factors such as age and general health or procedural risks and costsPrescribes corrective shoes and braces to treat gait and balance issuesQualified candidate will be a licensed doctor of podiatric medicine; board-certified in medical specialty with two (2) years of experience in an active medical practice is preferred; current BLC/CPR certification; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essentialJob type: Full-time; *will consider full-time or part-time, based on candidate needs*Required Education/Certification: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine; BLS/CPRRequired Experience: Two (2) years in active medical practice preferredWhat Evergreen Health Offers You:Multiple comprehensive medical health insurance plans to choose fromDental and Vision coverage at no cost to youPaid Time Off package equaling up to 4 weeks in your first year403b with a generous company matchPaid parking or monthly metro passProfessional development opportunitiesPaid lunch breaksThis position is posted with a salary range.
