Core Clinical Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Director to lead our Hospital Medicine program at Upson Regional Medical Center.  This is a full-time, W-2 leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. • 1 Day Hospitalist Physician (7a-7p)
\n
• 1 Day NP/PA (7a-7p)
\n
• Dedicated Nocturnist NP/PA (7p-7a)
\n
• Average Daily Census: ~30  
\n
• 115-bed community hospital
\n
• 10-bed Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
\n
• EMR:  Meditech Expanse
\n

Position Overview:

\n
• Leadership - Provide oversight, mentorship, and guidance for a team of day hospitalists and APPs.
\n
• Clinical - Balance of clinical shifts and protected administrative time.
\n
• Scheduling - Standard 7on/7off moded, with flexibility in administration coverage.
\n
• Engagement - Partner closely with Core and hospital leadership to maintain program stability, quality metrics and clinician satisfacation.
\n
• Collaboration - Work in tadem with Emergency Medicine leadership to ensure coordinated patient care.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\n
• Prior Hospital Medicine leadership experience required
\n
• Active Georgia medical license; or eligible to obtain Georgia medical license
\n
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, collaborate with administration and drive quality outcomes
\n
• ACLS required
\n
