We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team, responsible for order verification of both non-hazardous and hazardous outpatient infusion medications, including oncology. The role involves IV infusion compounding product evaluation and verification, as well as the evaluation of oncology and non-oncology treatment plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating and verifying insurance coverage prior to initiating treatment plans and providing infusion medication patient education. You will also participate in managing infusion adverse reactions.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders of non-hazardous and hazardous outpatient infusion medications.
• Evaluate and verify IV infusion compounding products.
• Assess oncology and non-oncology treatment plans.
• Verify insurance coverage before initiating treatment plans.
• Educate patients on infusion medications.
• Participate in adverse reaction management for infusions.

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Oregon Pharmacist License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience with outpatient infusion, Med Surg, Labor and Delivery, and Emergency Department.
• Experience with Epic charting system.

• Chemo/Hazardous Drug experience preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing systems preferred.

This position is located at a critical access/Level III trauma center with a total of two openings. The work schedule consists of a 4x10 day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The assignment length is 13 weeks with a potential for extension, though conversion to permanent employment is not guaranteed. The facility uses the Epic charting system and provides scrubs for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units. No on-call or weekend work is required, and parking is complimentary.

This is a Contract position based out of Hood River, OR.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hood River,OR.

This position is anticipated to close on Jul 1, 2026.
