Join Our Dynamic RN Float Pool Team!

Job Description:


- Flexible Shift : 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend shifts as needed.
- Diverse Experience : Float across various units including ER, ICU, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/PP, and NICU at multiple facilities (Boise, Meridian, Nampa).
- Specialty Focus : Float only within your specialty; no floating to lower acuity areas. Opportunity to be a 1:1 sitter in any area.
- Patient Ratios : Work with manageable nurse-to-patient ratios:
- ER: 1:4
- ICU: 1:1-2
- MedSurg: 1:5
- Tele: 1:4
- Peds: 1:3
- NICU: 1:4
- Required Certifications :
- BLS (mandatory for all)
- ACLS and NIHSS for Tele and Critical Care
- TNCC for Emergency Department
- Experience Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years in specialty
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Highly recommend antepartum and mother-baby experience for L&D travelers
- Titration Skills : Required for ER, ICU, Tele, MedSurg, PICU.
- Supportive Environment : Each unit has a Charge Nurse and a dedicated float pool leadership team available 24/7.
- Team Assistance : Access to nurse aids/patient care techs with ratios of 1:8-10.
- Technology Support : Tele/monitor techs available in ICU, ER, Tele, and PICU.
- Orientation : Meet and greet on day 1 and 3 shifts of inpatient orientation.
- Travel Convenience : All hospitals within 20 minutes of each other and easily accessible from the interstate.
- Dress Code : Professional attire is required, no specific scrub color.
- Scheduling : No self-scheduling; block scheduling attempts made but not guaranteed.
