Machine Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Operator II to join their team. As an Operator II, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operator I-Strips
ENTRY LEVEL 

Location: Ames, IA

Pay Range: $18 hour 
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30 PM 
Fridays are OT 

What's the Job?

• Responsible for producing quality products per the build signal.
• Gather materials and set up straightforward equipment.
• Maintain quality of products produced according to department standards.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in team meetings for planning and problem-solving.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Six months of production experience required.
• Six months of mechanical experience or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn machine operations and perform data entry accurately.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
