Production Operator

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the production support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have dependability, flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Ames, IA

Pay Range: $20-21 hour

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 9pm-730 AM

What's the Job?

• Carry 20-25kg bags and operate machinery on the production floor

• Charge stations and manage packaging activities

• Operate hoists and forklifts (standup and sitdown)

• Use PPE including respirators and perform safety procedures

• Ensure quality standards through visual inspections and sampling

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of general warehouse or production experience

• Ability to operate machinery and forklifts

• Physical ability to move up to 60 lbs frequently and often

• Willingness to complete required compliance and safety testing
