We are looking to fill this position on the West Coast but location is flexible.The Business Development Expert will lead the development, qualification, and advancement of strategic opportunities. This role will build trusted relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders while shaping compelling capture strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving opportunities through the full lifecycle.· Establish trusted relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders early in the opportunity lifecycle to shape requirements, clarify scope, align expectations, and strengthen 3DS positioning· Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, client priorities, competitive dynamics, and industry signals to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic decision-making· Evaluate opportunities based on strategic alignment, customer relevance, competitive positioning, risk, resource requirements, and potential for long-term value creation· Create comprehensive capture strategies for priority opportunities, including clear win themes, attack strategies, competitive differentiators, and partner approaches in collaboration with the Industry Business Value Consultant· Develop compelling strategic narratives that connect 3DS capabilities and value propositions to customer priorities while aligning with broader Industry objectives· Coordinate sales, industry, value creation, technical, partner, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, strengthen competitive positioning, and improve proposal credibility.· Drive opportunities forward by coordinating the right actions at the right time, maintaining momentum, addressing risks, and ensuring organizational readiness throughout the opportunity lifecycle.· Lead or support negotiations, proposal development and refinement, customer presentations, and post-submission activities to help secure successful outcomes.· Maintain a transparent and accurate opportunity pipeline, contribute to revenue forecasting, monitor win/loss patterns, and work with Value Creation teams to develop competitive, value-based IMD pricing and packages.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field12+ years of proven experience in strategic sales, business development, or go-to-market leadershipStrong AI Factory / AI Infrastructure Industry Knowledge (semiconductor, data centers)Strong Knowledge or experience with the full sales cycleExperience working with executive-level stakeholders and influencing strategic business decisionsEffective Relationship Building SkillsEffective Presentation SkillsNegotiation and Deal Management SkillsStrong Communication Skills, both written and verbal#LI-Hybrid
