You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03/GS9-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:Experience within the Advanced Arresting Gear System in particular, a deep understanding of how the Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls subsystems interfacePerforming analysis of large and complex data sets and has knowledge of such tools utilized for analysisWorking with stakeholders, both internal and external to NAVAIR, to form coalitions and achieve program goalsDevelop recommendations based on analysis, writing technical documentation, and briefing complex technical issues to leadershipUtilizing modeling and simulation tools to forecast performance characteristics of ALRE systemsAdditional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
