Gallery Assistant

The gallery and ceramics work study position consists of a variety of duties including:

• Opening the gallery for visitors
• Maintaining oversight of gallery visitors
• Aiding in the installation and take down of exhibitions
• Creation of labels for exhibitions
• Answering the questions of gallery visitors
• Answering the gallery phone
• Ensuring the safety of all art work
• Other duties may be assigned in the Fine Arts Area

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Availability to work mornings preferably beginning at 9am

Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word

Punctual, reliable and organized

Availability to work evenings until 5pm
