Summary

Glaz-Tech is looking to hire for the following positions, IG Line and Fabrication at our Baton Rouge, LA location. We are seeking a responsible, adaptable and self-driven individual looking to grow with us in the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing associate will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality.

Responsibilities may include:

Use of specialized machinery and hand tools
Organization and production of various glass products
Assisting multiple departments as needed
Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications
Conduct quality control tests and inspections raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with accuracy in all tasks.
Must possess the ability to spot errors, maintain consistency and ensure high standards of quality in their work

Requirements:

Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to communicate in English
Willingness to learn new skills and grow as an employee
Successfully pass pre-employment Drug Screen

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and equipment
Authorized to work in the US
