To support the Water and Soil Accelerator (WASA) Agribusiness Catalyst, the remote Consultant - Investment Readiness and Capital Mobilization will provide investment advisory and transaction support services, focusing on advancing agribusiness models to investment readiness and mobilizing private-sector co-investment. Key responsibilities Develop an inception report and workplan, refining the assignment approach and investment-readiness criteria Create investor-ready business cases and pitch kits, assessing the commercial viability and financing needs of agribusiness models Engage with investors and facilitate capital mobilization efforts to secure targeted private-sector investment Required qualifications Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Development Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field Professional certification in finance or investment (e.g., CFA, ACCA, FMVA) 8-10 years of experience in investment advisory, transaction structuring, or private sector investment mobilization Proven track record of mobilizing private sector capital or co-investment Experience working with agribusinesses or in agricultural value chains, preferably in Zambia or Malawi
