Physician Assistant

SpineSearch is working with a well‑established, privately held neurosurgery practice with a long‑standing presence in the community and is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a newly added neurologist. This is a hospital‑based role within a high‑acuity, Level I Trauma environment. Practice Overview (Confidential) Private neurosurgery practice with decades of clinical excellence Multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff Comprehensive neurosurgical services including spine, cranial, interventional neurology, and general neurosurgery Level I Trauma Center with ER coverage and helicopter access Only Level I Trauma center serving a large regional area Position Summary This is a newly created role to support a neurologist who joined the practice recently and has prior experience working with advanced practice providers. The NP/PA will play a key role in inpatient care coordination, patient rounds, and clinic support. Key Responsibilities Perform daily inpatient rounds Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient care Support clinic operations and patient follow‑ups Participate in procedures as appropriate Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team Participate in call rotation (currently daytime call; potential for night call in the future) Schedule Monday through Friday, with potential weekend coverage Rounds typically begin around 7:30–8:00 AM Clinic days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Procedure days: Monday and Wednesday Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Experience in neurology, neurosurgery, or acute care preferred New graduates will be considered Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast‑paced hospital and trauma setting #J-18808-Ljbffr SpineSearch LLC
