Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Provide support to individuals with illnesses, injuries, or disabilities to improve daily living activities.
- Document occupational therapy services in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Help residents perform therapeutic exercises and monitor their progress.
- Observe and recommend necessary accommodations to enhance therapy and recovery.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Compliance / Notes:
Comply with facility policies and procedures for documentation and service delivery.
