HVAC Maintenance Technician

Entry-Level HVAC Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a long-term career in the HVAC industry. The technician will assist with performing preventative maintenance, system inspections, basic troubleshooting, and general service support for residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systemsClean and maintain HVAC equipment, components, and work areasInspect systems for proper operation and identify potential issuesReplace filters, belts, and other basic components as neededDocument service performed and communicate findings clearlyProvide professional customer service during all interactionsFollow all company safety procedures and industry standardsMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned)Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations as neededComplete required training and certification programsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredHVAC school, technical certification, or related training preferred but not requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnValid driver's license with clean driving recordStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable attendance and professional attitudeAbility to work independently and follow instructionsMust be able to successfully pass a background screening and drug screening, if applicablePreferred (but not required)EPA CertificationPrevious experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical trades, or customer serviceBasic knowledge of HVAC systems and toolsPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periodsComfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and mechanical roomsMust be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC equipmentAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime as neededMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)What We OfferPaid on-the-job trainingCareer advancement opportunitiesCompetitive hourly payBenefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, etc., if applicable)Company-provided tools/equipment (if applicable)Supportive team environment focused on growth and developmentWhy Join Us?This is an opportunity to build a career in a stable, high-demand trade with hands-on training and advancement potential.
