Occupational Therapist Assistant

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience
• Current COTA license

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under supervision.
• Administer treatment procedures as part of rehabilitation plans, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Document treatment minutes and required information in the electronic documentation system.
• Participate in team meetings and required training sessions.

Compliance / Notes:

• Adhere to required practice acts and code of conduct during professional practice.
• Active state licensure/registration is required.
