Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant experience
- Long-term care or rehabilitation experience
- Current COTA license

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under supervision.
- Administer treatment procedures as part of rehabilitation plans, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and therapeutic exercises.
- Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Document treatment minutes and required information in the electronic documentation system.
- Participate in team meetings and required training sessions.

Compliance / Notes:
- Adhere to required practice acts and code of conduct during professional practice.
- Active state licensure/registration is required.
