A few important notes from the Manager: 1. The Manager met with two candidates last week who had already interviewed for this same role approximately a year ago and were declined. Please ensure you are not resubmitting previously declined candidates. 2. We are seeing resumes that appear to be beefed up, but during the interview the candidates are unable to speak confidently to the technical experience listed on their resume. Please thoroughly vet candidates and confirm they have actual hands-on experience with the required technical skills. 3. This is a hands-on role where competency and safety are critical. The Manager needs to feel confident the selected candidate truly understands the field and can perform the work safely and independently. Please prioritize quality over quantity and only submit candidates whose experience you have fully validated. First Interview will be virtual Second Interview will be onsite 3rd shift however first 90 days will be 1st shift (7-3:30pm) Equipment: Swing reaches, forklift, scissor lift (will be trained on)Job InformationJob Taxonomy: CW Contingent Worker- Maintenance TechnicianJob TitleMaintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionMajor Job Duties and Responsibilities:Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.Answers security alarm calls as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Technical School preferred.High School diploma or equivalent preferred.3 years applicable direct experience in a similar position.Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Skills in mathematics, personal computers and related applications are vital.Interpersonal and communication skills are important.Knowledge of HVAC systems required.Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort:The work environment characteristics and physical effort described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
