Title
Neuro ICU - Comprehensive Stroke Center

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour nights - 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience
- Required certs: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS
- EMR: Epic
- Key clinical skills:
- Neuro critical care: EVD/LD care, ICP monitoring, post-neurosurgery management
- Stroke/CVA management and monitoring
- Ventilator management & care of ventilated patients
- Central line care, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation
- Dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IV starts
- Preferred: arterial line management

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours (2 days or 2 nights)
- Candidate must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Flu vaccine REQUIRED (medical/religious exemptions only)
- RTO after booking is NOT allowed
