Ultrasonographer – Women’s Care Clinic – Full-Time, Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: 2665 Scripture Street, Denton, TX 76201 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a - 5:00 p Women’s Care Clinic Highlights Strong teamwork and collaboration Fast-paced, high volume inbound/outbound calls Compassion and empathy to our patients and the Team Join an innovative team working towards making healthcare more accessible, integrated, and reliable Here’s What You Need Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program (required) Completion of requirements to be certified by RDMS (required) ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers upon hire (required) 2 years related experience (required) 2 years OB/GYN experience (strongly preferred) Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience (preferred) Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism Specific to OB/GYN: Must have experience performing gynecological and obstetrical sonograms, including: Normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy Fetal anatomy and biophysical profile Fetal anomalies, including ectopic pregnancies Appropriate measurement techniques in transabdominal and endovaginal scanning Ability to identify what is expected to be seen in all three trimesters of pregnancy Comfortable verbally explaining all techniques and views to physicians and patients What You Will Do Deliver care to patients utilizing the Ultrasonographer process. Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological and anatomical data. Prepare the room for examination, greet patients, and educate patients on procedural information as needed. May schedule and coordinate tests. Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot as needed. Properly record test results. Operate, care for, and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain operational logs and document malfunctions as needed. Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards. Stock and order supplies as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
