Program Manager

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) in Marion, Virginia, designs, develops, manufactures, and supports advanced composite radomes and aerostructures. Our products enable mission-critical military technologies, commercial aviation, and record-setting business-jet travel.The Program Manager is an experienced leader with direct accountability for program execution and customer relationships, along with regular visibility to GDMS leadership. In this role, you will lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and guide a cross-functional matrix organization in developing, defining, and executing cohesive program, product, subcontractor, material, and business plans. These plans will support the near- and long-term objectives of the program, business unit, and division.You will identify resource requirements; establish and maintain integrated, work-breakdown-structure (WBS)-based budget and schedule baselines; and monitor performance against those plans. You will ensure the rate of work completion supports program schedules and delivery commitments. Success in this role requires balancing program risks and opportunities, developing executable strategies to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements, and leading cross-functional teams focused on delivering exceptional products and outcomes for our customers.GDMS offers significant opportunities for career development and advancement.
