Ampex is a small, fast-paced, growing aerospace company looking for new teammates. General Overview: Ampex is looking for a highly organized Manufacturing Test Technician IV to join our team. The Manufacturing Test Technician IV of Electro-Mechanical systems is primarily focused on avionics and flight test equipment. The position duties include the system checkout of production systems, repair of customer returned material, completion of the acceptance test plan datasheets, and technical leadership of the test team. This position is to be filled onsite in Hayward, CA. No employer visa sponsorship is available. Analyze & perform various tests on final systems to evaluate performance is compliant to standards and specifications Utilize test instruments to evaluate and test functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and board level components. Ensure the reliability of products by performing Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) Follow test procedure to program & install software/firmware on various systems, subassemblies Identify, diagnose, & troubleshoot system failures, then assist with finding root cause & isolating potential causes. Complete test report documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Perform a wide variety of assigned manufacturing tasks Ability to complete tasks within a specified timeline Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area Qualifications: AS degree in Electronics or equivalent 10+ years of related electronics work experience Must demonstrate strong leadership abilities while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Familiar with ISO standard manufacturing practices Ability to read and understand test procedures and schematics Understanding of electronic analog and digital circuitry and print circuit boards Ability to use Window and Linux PC to perform work requirement Must be U.S. Citizens - this position will be working directly on a contract with the U.S. Government, which requires all employees performing these functions be U.S. Citizens. This position is contingent on the applicant providing proof of U.S. Citizenship. Compensation:

• Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 annually (based on experience)
