The Workforce Coordinator supports the hiring & onboarding efforts of a growing commercial construction company – especially the Spanish-speaking candidates & employees. This role assists with candidate communication, interview coordination & hiring events – ensuring clear communication in an organized, welcoming & efficient manner. Position also supports compliance, workforce development initiatives & a strong pipeline of candidates.

Job Duties:

- Act as primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking candidates, providing support with applications, interview coordination and onboarding activities – ensuring clear and professional communication in both English and Spanish.

- Collect, review and verify new-hire documentation while maintaining confidentiality while entering into company HRIS.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.

- Provide administrative support to the Workforce Development & HR teams as needed

- Occasional travel may be required to support job sites, hiring events, orientation and workforce development initiatives including outreach to Spanish-speaking communities.

Job Requirements

- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)

- High school diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruiting or HR support, with emphasis on a field-based or skilled-trades workforce, preferably in the construction industry.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with candidates, field leadership and internal teams

- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and with an ATS system, preferably Workday.
