RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid RN license in the state of practice and have extensive experience in a Cath Lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on Cath Lab procedures.
• Manage and assist with structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, Impella, ECMO, and emergent catheterization cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Document patient care activities using EPIC electronic health record system.

Shift Information

This position involves day shift work, Monday through Friday. Shifts will start either at 7am or 8am and conclude at 3:30pm or 4:30pm. Call will be required 2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on acute care and Cath Lab procedures.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC Advanced Life Support (ALS): Required.

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Cath Lab procedures, particularly in structural heart and vascular interventions.
• Proficient in the use of EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
