Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join the team in Renton, WA. The selected candidates will be a key member of the commercial aircraft sales team in representing The Boeing Company to airline and lessor customers from around the world. In addition to managing contractual and technical risks, the selected candidate will play a critical role in managing the entire lifecycle of a commercial aircraft transaction, from negotiating the sale of the aircraft through its eventual delivery to the customer. Successful candidates will have the ability to balance The Boeing Company’s priorities while also maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and our airline and lessor customers.Position Responsibilities:Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies.Leads the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the business.Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers.Authority to prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company.Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines.Summarizes complex contractual issues, and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontractsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher3+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationshipsTypical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
