The Impact You'll Make As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Your responsibilities will include: Loading and unloading vehicles and assisting in material handling. Work at heights and perform heavy lifting of 30 pounds or more. Operate industrial trucks or tractors to move materials around a warehouse or production area. Maintain forklift certification and adhere to all safety protocols. Your Skills & Expertise To set you up for success, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or higher completed and verified prior to start. One (1) year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Applicants meeting the basic qualifications may be required to take and pass 3M‑elected testing as part of the selection process. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include: Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with MES. Understanding of Lean Management Systems and lean tools. Pay & Benefits Starting pay rate of $25.79 (range may vary based on qualification and experience).
