Southwest Regional Truck Driver - Home Weekly | East TX

We’re hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a Dallas-based regional fleet operating primarily throughout Texas and the Southwest.

This position offers weekly home time, 100% no-touch freight, late-model equipment, and consistent regional miles.

Minimum 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience required.

Position Highlights

• Home weekly for a 34-hour reset
• Approximately 2,000 miles per week
• Average length of haul around 300 miles
• 100% no-touch freight
• Approximately 50–60% drop and hook
• Approximately 40–50% live unload
• Sign-on bonus available
• Late-model automatic equipment

Pay

Mileage pay is based on experience:

$0.54–$0.60 CPM

Top-performing regional drivers can earn $1,500+ per week .

Additional compensation includes:

• Detention pay: $12.50/hour after 2 hours, or higher where required by law
• Layover/breakdown pay: $100/day, or higher where required by law
• Short-haul minimum pay
• Performance-based mileage bonus opportunity

Short-Haul Pay

Qualifying loads picked up and delivered at customer locations receive the following minimum pay:

0–50 miles: $100
51–100 miles: $120
101–150 miles: $140
151–200 miles: $160
201–250 miles: $180
251–300 miles: $200
301+ miles: Regular driver CPM rate

Short-haul minimum pay applies to qualifying customer pickup and delivery loads. Terminal transfers and repowers do not qualify for the full minimum pay. Split-order minimum pay is paid with the second half of the load.

Where You'll Run

Approximately 80% of the fleet's operation is throughout the Southwest , including:

• Texas
• Oklahoma
• Arkansas
• Louisiana
• Mississippi
• Western Tennessee

Drivers may also operate as far north as Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois and as far east as Tennessee, Alabama, northern Georgia, Kentucky, and southern Ohio.

Performance Bonus

Drivers can earn up to an additional $0.03 CPM based on safety, mileage, and productivity.

Eligibility begins after the first full month of employment. Drivers must be active company drivers at the time of payout and meet applicable program requirements.

Equipment

Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias or Kenworths .

Trainer Opportunity

Experienced drivers looking to increase their earning potential may qualify for the driver trainer program.

Trainer compensation includes:

• Additional $250 per week while actively training a student
• Additional $0.05 CPM on all miles over 1,875 per week
• Up to $400 Safe Student Bonus per student upgrade
• Potential for $20,000+ in additional annual earnings

Examples of additional weekly trainer earnings:

1,875 miles — $343.75
2,000 miles — $350
2,500 miles — $375
3,000 miles — $400

The $250 weekly trainer pay applies while actively training even when the driver does not exceed 1,875 miles.

Trainer Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of OTR experience
• At least 30 days employed with the company
• Safe driving record

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must meet applicable company hiring and safety requirements
• Must be able to meet the schedule and operating requirements of the regional fleet
