License: X-Ray certification, CPR certification. Certifications: CDA, RDA, EFDA (preferred but not required). Must-Have: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.

Description: As a Dental Hygienist Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team. You will provide support to the office and assist the professional dental staff with treatment. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization. Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress. Update patient health history and chart treatment progress. Expose and develop radiographs (if certified). Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments. Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems. Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
