Description:
As an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will work closely with oral surgeons and other clinical staff to assist with complex procedures.
You will assist with wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and IV sedation cases.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on surgical setting.
You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care.
You will assist oral surgeons with surgical procedures, including extractions and dental implants.
You will prepare and maintain surgical instruments, operatory, and sterilization areas.
You must comply with infection control protocols.
You will monitor and reassure patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
You will take and process dental radiographs, including panoramic and CBCT imaging if certified.
Clear post-operative instructions will be provided to patients and caregivers.
You will manage surgical inventory, prepare surgical trays, and order supplies as needed.
You will support sedation and anesthesia setup and the recovery process under supervision.
Collaboration with front desk and clinical staff is essential to ensure an efficient workflow and patient experience.
