Under the direction of the Supervisor I,  the EEO Specialist performs work of higher complexity in a variety of administrative, consultative, and analytical assignments in EEO. The EEO Specialist conducts complex analytical functions in the office, conducts discrimination investigations, provides technical assistance to Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act (WIOA) Local Area Equal Opportunity (EO) Officers, conducts compliance monitoring for compliance to WIOA Section 188, and performs a variety of coordinating duties on behalf of the Department.

Position exists in downtown Sacramento.

This position is headquartered at the New Labor Agency Building (NLAB), a newly remodeled high-rise building.
