Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment Practice . This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly experienced team handling complex labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and single-plaintiff employment claims. The role offers significant responsibility, client engagement, and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an e xcellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
• 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience with wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and single-plaintiff employment claims
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.
• FEHA, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, as well as whistleblower matters, is preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
• Soft skills: Excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills, along with a collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality client service

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in l abor and employment litigation matters
• Draft motions , briefs , memoranda , and other litigation filings
• Participate in discovery , including depositions, document review, and preparation of discovery responses
• Conduct legal research on wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and single-plaintiff employment claims, and related statutory frameworks
• Assist with case strategy , risk assessment , and litigation planning in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Support clients across a range of industries on complex employment-related litigation matters

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary : Expected annual salary range of $260,000-$365,000 , as determined by experience and market factors
